I've been doing some contracting work for L<10gen|http://10gen.com>
recently. They have that rather cool open source document database
called L<MongoDB|http://mongodb.org> and they wanted me to write a
module to use that from Perl. I did that and the code is now available
on L<CPAN|http://search.cpan.org/dist/MongoDB> and
L<github|http://github.com/mongodb/mongo-perl-driver>.

Writing that was fun, and I'm already looking forward to be able to
use MongoDB as a backend for
L<KiokuDB|http://search.cpan.org/perldoc?KiokuDB>. I started writing
code for that and put it on
L<github|http://github.com/rafl/kiokudb-backend-mongodb>, but isn't
passing all the tests just yet.

In related news, after finishing the MongoDB module, I'm available for
